Noriko Onohara’s Renku Workshop…

Here is our renku of the 4th August, 2012 at Conway Hall. It was a brilliant session of your improvisational haiku poems. I appreciate the unique moment we could share. Thanks so much for your attendance.

I have no swimsuits
lovers walk to the future
today was triumph
it’s the moon that defines you
bluebells in the cemetery
autumn trembling
she collects fossilized stones
time is not the same
glowing in dark silver spoon
duplicated blue calyx
a scalding summer
innocence never comes back.

Have you experienced anything above in your summer?

I found ephemerality and beauty in life and death.

*****
now silence comes back
with noise of a damaged ear
summer dress away
