Monday 30th May - Sunday 5th June: Holy Shit! Visions of the Walworth Jumpers!

Four artists meet under Peckham-Rye rail station for a week of visionary art and workshops inspired by a Victorian cult. A week of mural painting by Valerie Pezeron, The Krah, Kevin Ward and Hurk culminates in a weekend of workshops, plus final cult party and zine fair on Sunday 5th June.

Saturday 4th June: Consecrate that Body! Exercises in Holy Life Drawings 11am-2pm

Whether you are looking for a spiritual awakening through the powers of Art or are an already proficient spiritual drawer, this life drawing class is an opportunity for High-Priestess Valerie Pezeron to guide you to a deeper understanding of the miracle of drawing. Set under the (possessed?) arches of the Sassoon gallery and under the watchful spirit of Victorian nutty Mary Ann Girling, participants are invited to channel their own inner crazed sect disciple... in all unseriousness!

A male life model will be our human sacrificial muse for three hours of godly nonsense. Followers will draw varied poses with surreal props to a number of diverse aptly themed tunes from classical to rock, and respond to the emotions the music will raise within them. Devotees are asked to draw with colours that follow their mood and emotional response to the songs. The result expected is a fine tuned intimate dialogue with the sublime…or maybe not!

Various paper sizes will be provided and different drawing mediums/colours are encouraged.

Sunday 5th June: Start Your Own Cult Workshop, Zine Fair and Final Cult Party! 12pm - late

- Start Your Own Cult Workshop with Kevin Ward 12pm-3pm

Learn how to create your own bonkers cult in two hours using a (not-yet) tried and (might-be) true cult-management method created by cosmic pamphlet guru Kevin Ward.

In this workshop you will learn:

• How to develop the history of the founding of your cult
• Cosmic vision and charisma skills
• Effective strategies for recruitment and promotion
• Tips for communal living and member management
• Branding and marketing material

The first half of this workshop will focus on cult story-creation and leadership, followed by a fifteen minute Kool-Aid break. In the second half, workshoppers will put their visions into practice with some hand-on pamphlet and icon production, recruitment role-play and the building of a communal shrine.

All necessary materials will be provided.

The day, organised in collaboration WolfWind Zine Collective, will also include a Zine Fair and end with an amazing Final Cult Party!
